Employment will be in the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 1283 until December 31, 2025 and at the Faculty of Mathematics from the January 1, 2026.
In the CRC 1283 from August 1, 2024 - December 31, 2025:
scientific research tasks in the field of analysis and/or numerical analysis of stochastic partial differential equations (100 %)
In the Faculty of Mathematics from January 1, 2026 - July 31, 2027:
scientific research tasks in the field of analysis and/or numerical analysis of stochastic partial differential equations (100 %)
teaching to the extent of 3 hours per week (25 %)
contribution to academic self-administration and the general university administration (10 %)
Employment is conducive to scientific qualification
We offer
salary according to Remuneration level 13 TV-L
fixed-term (3 years) (§ 2 (1) sentence 1 of the WissZeitVG; in accordance with the provisions of the WissZeitVG and the Agreement on Satisfactory Conditions of Employment, the length of contract may differ in individual cases)

Your Profile
We expect
scientific university degree in mathematics or a relevant subject (diploma, master's degree or equivalent)
advanced knowledge of numerical analysis
German language skills (oral and written) that are sufficient to teach courses in German or the willingness to acquire such skills
good englisch language skills (oral and written)
independent, self-reliant and committed work attitude
cooperative and team-oriented work ethic
high communication skills
