Your Tasks
- scientific research tasks in the sub-project C3 "Tame patterns in the representation theory of reductive Lie groups and arithmetic geometry", especially concerning algebras of tame representation type (85 %)
- participation in joint research work and discussions in sub-project C3 as well as involvement in events, such as internal project workshops (5 %)
- participation in the overarching discussions and research work of the CRC-TRR (5 %)
- support in the planning and organisation of joint SFB events (5 %)
The employment is designed to encourage further academic qualification.

Your Profile
We expect
- completed academic university degree (Master's, Diplom or equivalent) in mathematics
- completed or shortly to be completed doctorate in a relevant area of mathematics (such as algebra or representation theory)
- German language skills or the ability and interest to acquire them in order to be able to carry out research, teaching, academic tasks and self-administration in German as well
- very good written and spoken English skills
- independent, self-reliant and committed working style
- good communication skills
