- establishment of a flow method for in situ observation of remineralisation processes by means of atomic force microscopy
- quantitative characterisation of remineralisation processes on tooth surfaces by means of confocal laser scanning microscopy (LSM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
- application of complementary techniques such as electrochemical, spectroscopic and diffractometric methods
- investigation of synergistic remineralisation effects in the presence of of hydroxyapatite and other calcium compounds
- production of hydroxyapatite in the presence of modifiers
