The position is funded by the DFG Collaborative Research Center CRC-TR211/3 Strong-interaction matter under extreme conditions as part of the research project B07 on "Strong-interaction matter in the early Universe" coordinated by Prof. Dietrich Bödeker (Bielefeld University), Prof. Laura Sagunski (Goethe University), Prof. Dominik Schwarz (Bielefeld University), and Prof. Cora Uhleman (Bielefeld University). The successful candidate will cooperate with Dietrich Bödeker and pursue cutting edge research at the interface of particle physics and cosmology to explore the effects of strong interactions on electroweak rates in the early Universe. - pursue cutting edge research at the interface of particle physics and cosmology to explore the
impact of strong interactions on electroweak rates in the early Universe (approx. 65 %)
- evaluation and interpretation of data including analytical calculations (approx. 15 %)
- involvement in writing publications and presentation of scientific results at conferences (approx. 5 %)
- participation at workshops and other events organized within the CRC (approx. 5 %)
- teaching of tutorials/courses and supervision of bachelor and master students (1 LVS/ up to 8 %)
- participate in the organization of the academic life in the physics department (up to 2 %)

- scientific university degree (Master or equivalent) in physics
