• conducting independent research in public policy as well as contributing to the research of the working group (e. g. publications, project proposals) (65 %)
• teaching in the amount of 4 LVS (2 courses per semester) in the area of Comparative Politics / Public Policy, including supervision of students and assessment of papers and theses (25 %)
• contributing to academic self administration (10 %)

• salary according to Remuneration level 13 TV-L
• fixed-term initially for the duration of the maternity leave of the jobholder, at the latest until 18.08.2026 (In case of a subsequent parental leave there is the possibility of extension.) (§ 14 (1) number 3 of the TzBfG i. c. w. § 21 BEEG)

• research profile in public policy research, with visible publication activities and research interests which closely relate to the research foci of the working group (further information on the research group can be found here)
• fluency in English
• very good methods skills (qualitative and/or quantitative)
• good communication and organisational skills
• ability to work independently and in teams

• very good well advanced or completed dissertation in the area of comparative politics / public policy
• experience with seeking third-party funding
• experience with academic teaching
• good command of German (written and spoken)
